Santogold: Patron saint of amazing stage shows

If any of you haven’t had the chance to catch a glimpse of Santogold live, then you better get Googling and find the nearest concert happening near you and get your funky moves ready. Hailing from Philadelphia/NY, she just rocked our socks off at the Edinburgh Festival. Sonically, her team covers all the bases – dirty dance hall, indie pop anthems, 80s-esque bop-tunes and the occasional verge into the Drum’n’bass / Dub Step genres. But if the line up of two guitars, two keyboards, two laptops, decks, drums, bass and one hard MC isn’t enough for you, then her two synchronised, choreographed stage dancers come in and relentlessly keep the gig bouncing. I’d go as far as say that they are integral to the sound. Spinning the record now, I can’t get their moves out of my head… don’t question, just go check it out for yourself!
