Sculpture Park Holidays

When people go on holidays, there’s always that debate about whether or not you should go to museums or just take in the city or countryside. Why not avoid the whole debate next time and head off on some amazing adventures tracking down and exploring the world’s sculpture parks?

Today, I came across a rather amazing and useful geographic directory of sculpture parks from around the world. Complied by sculptor Benbow Bullock, a self-proclaimed “Artnut” from California, the somewhat lo-fi html map and listing gives a selection of some of some wonderful art in the land experiences from around the world.
Two of my favourites are the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (England) and Sculpture in the Parklands (Offaly, Ireland).
