Located in a historic mill on the Woonasquatucket River, Monohasset Mill is a housing association and a historic preservation project in Providence, Rhode Island. Today, Monohasset Mill is a thriving community with a strong commitment to the arts and the surrounding neighborhood, providing subsidized and market rate live/work units zoned for mixed-use. Designed by architect James Bucklin and built in 1866, Monohasset Mill was the home of renowned textile manufacturers and the Armington & Sims Engine Company who built engines for Thomas Edison.
